Classically trained cellist Helen Mountfort is best know for her work as a composer and performer with bands Not Drowning, Waving, My Friend the Chocolate Cake, Cosmo Cosmolino and The David Chesworth Ensemble. Helen has composed extensively for film and television, both individually and with several of her bands and their members. Film and television credits include “Proof”, “Hammers Over The Anvil”, “Say A Little Prayer”, “That Eye The Sky”, “What I have Written”and “My Brother Jack”(which was nominated for best theme award for a television series or mini series at the Screen Composer Guild Awards).
