Rachel Hannaford started drumming at 16 in 1988 with Adelaide band The Coneheads which were a mixture of bubblegum music and Ramones punk/garage rock. She got into heavier bands in the nineties most succesfully with Adelaide band Mono. The band supported Silverchair during their Freak tour and they also played at the Big Day Out with supports of the Dirty Three, Beasts of Bourbon and Bad Religion. After moving to Melbourne she joined The Sunbeams but unfortunately, they disbanded after two or so years for personal reasons. She returned to South Australia to start a business.
I love that woman! 🥰
