BRONWYN ADAMS

A legendary figure in Australia’s post/punk scene, Bronwyn Adams is the violinist/co-lyricist in Crime and the City Solution. Having played in a reconvened Crime for 2013’s American Twilight, she has recently been pursuing her own vision as a solo artist, playing a series of spellbinding shows around Melbourne in 2014 and 2015.

She is married to Crime and the City Solution frontman Simon Bonney and was the band's violinist during the Berlin lineup from 1986-1991. After Crime and the City Solution disbanded, Bronwyn continued working with Simon Bonney, playing violin and providing backing vocals for his solo material. Throughout 1994 and 1995, Bronwyn was also violinist for The Geraldine Fibbers, fronted by Ethyl Meatplow's Carla Bozulich. She has also played violin on records by Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Anita Lane
