Juliet is perhaps best known as the intoxicating singer for The Lighthouse Keepers, who played around Australia in the mid 1980’s. The Lighthouse Keepers were well known around the inner city venues during this heyday of post-punk-everything-goes music. They got a good review in the feared English trade paper NME, made it to Europe, but fell apart somewhere around Hamburg. After that Juliet and some of the band continued as the darker Widdershins, who again were highly credible cult favourites in Australia. Ward is also a scientific researcher who has studied the Dingo and still performs live casually. She participated in a 2007 podcast, and does occasional interviews. As "Jet" Ward she recorded a cover version of the song "Rachael Cooper" by Baterz ( a member of the cult band The Bedridden) on the 3× CD album, "Great Big Sqiddy Fun- A Baterz Tribute". In 2016 she recorded her solo album 'Jessamine'
Dedicated to the lesser known women in the music industry from the 60s to the 90s.
