Amanda Vincent is a multi-instrumentalist mainly known for her keyboard work in pop group The Eurogliders. In 1980 she joined Bernie Lynch's band Living Single. Together, they recruited Crispin Akerman on guitar, Don Meharry on bass guitar and Guy Slingerland on drums through a series of advertisements. The following year, Grace Knight – Lynch's future domestic partner – joined as lead vocalist. By the end of 1981, drummer John Bennetts replaced Slingerland and the band changed their name to Eurogliders.
The Eurogliders became a very popular band during the 80s releasing albums and singles that charted well. In 1987 after the demise of the band, Vincent went to London on a world tour with the Thompson Twins, and stayed in the UK to tour and co-write with Boy George. Her list of credits as a session musician is equally as impressive working with the likes of Tim Finn, Jenny Morris, Boy George, Billy Bragg and Camelle Hinds. These days she is known as Amanda Villepastour and is a researcher and lecturer at Cardiff University in Wales UK.
