Canadian singer born in Vancouver in 1927 who recorded in Canada before she moved to Sydney in 1959 after marrying an Australian. She appeared in Australian Playhouse (1966), I Like Music (1971) and The Bryan Davies Show (1962). She starred in her own show The Shirley McDonald Show which premiered in 1968 on ABC TV. She recorded a number of albums with Eric Jupp whom she married in the mid 60s. Shirley died in 2008 aged 81.
She’s still alive and moving in Vancouver, I’m afraid this entry is incorrect!
