Crumpet was an all-female glam/rock band formed in Perth in the mid 70s. The band had plenty of work around the city at venues like The Morley Park Hotel. Crumpet had a lot of lineup changes during its five year tenure with musicians including: Joy Locker (vocals/guitar/trumpet), Sue Bluck (vocals), Janine Locker (bass), Anne Irving (drums), Kelly Treloar (vocals/guitar), Deidre Baude (bass), Pauline Fitzpatrick (vocals), Mandy Backrack (bass/vocals/drums), Jean David (bass), Debbie Thompson (vocals) and Diane Fieldhouse (drums). There are no known recordings of the band. Deidre Baude would later turn up in Perth new wave band The Helicopters. Sue Bluck was recruited as a vocalist in Perth big band Manteca.
