Julie Anderson is a drummer from Sydney. In 1978 she formed indie-punk band XL Capris with Tim Gooding, Johanna Pigott and Kimble Rendall. After a number of record releases Anderson left the band in 1980. She married vocalist/guitarist Dave Fenton of English band The Vapors. They were a short-lived new wave guitar group that is best remembered for the pop single ''Turning Japanese''. She lives in Herfordshire in the UK
