Marilyn Hodgson was a singer with Paradiddle a traditional folk band that formed in 1978 out of Melbourne. She sang on their first album 'Wait Till The Word Gets Around' before departing for the UK where she spent 10 years learning classical singing, gaining her Licentiate Diploma in Performance from Trinity College London. Now known as Marilyn Benton she teaches singing and conducts a children's choir as well as working part time as a Primary School teacher.
