Kay-Louise Patterson played keyboards and sung with Acuff's Rose, a country rock group formed in 1991. They released two albums on Torn & Frayed Records, 'Never Comin' Down' (1993) and 'Son of the North Wind' (1995) before disbanding by 1997. Patterson released her solo album, 'International Travel' in 2006. She then hooked up with Clare Moore (The Moodists, Dave Graney and The Coral Snakes) to form The Dames that recorded the album 'Wait' in 2013.
