LOUISE LINCOLN

Louise Lincoln, a singer from Tasmania, joined the local band 1812 in the late ’60s, and they won the Hoadley’s Battle of the Sounds in Hobart in 1969. She later moved to Melbourne and became part of Brian Cadd’s Bootleg Family in 1973, recording several singles—some of which charted—as well as the film soundtrack 'Alvin Rides Again'. In 1979, she teamed up with Chris Mundy to write and record a tribute song for AFL footballer Peter Hudson, released on the HMV label and reaching #81 nationally. Her career after that is unclear until Cadd re-formed the Bootleg Family Band in 2015, releasing the studio album 'Bulletproof' in November 2016, followed by a short tour to promote it.
