Tasmanian Pat Muirson's musical career began on her 13th birthday when she received her first guitar. Teaching herself to play, she quickly developed her talent and, by the age of 14, was gaining recognition through vocal and instrumental performances at talent quests and competitions. At 16, Pat embarked on her first country and western tour with the Athol McCoy Show. This was followed by tours with Buddy Williams, Rick and Thel Carey, and an appearance alongside Reg Lindsay. Throughout her career, she travelled extensively across Australia and became well known through Tasmanian television and radio. In 1971, Pat recorded an EP for the local Van Diemen label, further establishing her presence in the Australian country music scene. These days she lives in Burnie Tasmania.
