Lisa Partington was the lead vocalist with the band The Rose Mary's which released the single, ''Freedom Riders / You Can Talk Now'' on the Half A Cow label in 1990. Soon after she joined the Snow Leopards that released two albums on the Waterfront label which led to a national tour, JJJ FM playlisting and a live at the wireless concert plus videos on ABC’s Rage. The Snow Leopards got into the Top 10 Alternative ARIA charts and played regularly at venues. The Snow Leopards were also included in the Roo Art Young Blood Compilation CD. This led to touring with The Fauves, The Clouds, The Welcome Mat and many more popular independent bands of the 90's.
