A brilliant violinist and vocalist, Ellen Stancombe is an original songstress from far north QLD, Australia. Her songs are inspired by just about anything and everything she encounters, including her home area in songs such as ''Turn Away'' and ''So Beautiful Round Here''. She has performed extensively with other artists including Emma Joleen, Jason Webley, Paul Lines, Wayne Jennings, Mick Nolan and many others. She has played in bands that cover very diverse music genres - from sci-fi art rock with The Red Paintings to celtic music to blues rock and country punk in bands like Desert Blues Cartel.
Dedicated to the lesser known women in the music industry from the 60s to the 90s.
