Irish singer and performer of comic songs and comedian. She grew up in Dublin with her brother, the highly successful singer and performer Danny Doyle. He has performed and recorded with her in Australia and has made the choice to live abroad too, although in his case, he chose the USA. Doyle has won 7 MO Awards. She was voted "Best stand up comic in Australia" in the first year that both male and female comics vied for this prestigious award. Previously she had won MO's for "Best Female Comic" and for "Best Versatile Performer". She recorded on the Larrikin label.

DeleteSuperb comedienne with a beautiful voice and warm presence. Performed live with brother Danny at Hanging Rock in (I think) 1993 and the signed CD of Emigrant Eyes that I purchased on the day has been a family favourite ever since.
